Travel Grants
Student Travel Grants Application Requirements
Student Travel Grants are available for a limited number of students planning to attend annual and biannual AGU meetings. This program provides financial assistance to U.S. and international young scientists and students who have little or no support from research contracts or grants, and who are presenting for the first time an oral/poster presentation as first author at the meeting. Application requirements and funding amounts vary by meeting.
2011 Fall Meeting
Please note that there are two separate application forms: one for those that are pursuing their studies in the US and one for those that are pursuing their studies outside of the US.
The students in the US (US citizens and non-US citizens) will need to complete the 2011 Student Travel Grant Application for US Students. Students not studying in the US will need to complete the 2011 Student Travel Grant Application for International Students. Also new this year is an additional requirement where all students will also need to have a faculty advisor, supervisor or reference complete an evaluation form on their behalf.
