Donor Recognition

AGU's donor recognition program acknowledges loyal and exceptional generosity of Union members and friends, and encourages others to follow in their footsteps. Join a growing group of supporters who have made giving to AGU a tradition.

1919 Society

The1919 Society recognizes extraordinary support of $100,000 or more. Membership is based on major gifts and/or cumulative giving. Pledges, payable over a period of up to five years, apply to membership upon receipt of one-fifth of the total commitment.

Benefactors

Benefactor levels recognize annual or one-time gifts of $5,000 or more. Donors whose cumulative gifts equal or exceed this amount are also recognized as Benefactors. The giving levels are $5,000–$9,999; $10,000–$24,999; $25,000–$99,000.

President's Circle

President's Circle recognizes donors who make annual gifts of $1,000 and up in support of AGU. By joining President's Circle you will enhance the Union's capacity to serve the Earth and space science community. Benefits of belonging to President's Circle include:

• Access to Donor Lounge at all major meetings
• Access to Leadership Lounge at Fall Meeting
• Recognition in annual reports
• Special leadership updates
• Four one-day transferable passes to the Donor Lounge
• Invitation to AGU President's Honors Reception
• Discounts on selected AGU books

Leadership Circle

Leadership Circle donors who make annual gifts of $200 to $999 in support of AGU. Benefits of belonging to Leadership Circle are tiered as follows:

Donors of $500–$999

• Access to Donor Lounge at Fall Meeting and Joint Assembly
• Access to Leadership Lounge at Fall Meeting
• Recognition in annual reports
• Special updates on Union activities
• Three one-day transferable passes to Donor Lounge at major AGU meetings
• Invitation to a special recognition event

Donors of $200–$499

• Access to Donor Lounge at Fall Meeting and Joint Assembly
• Recognition in annual reports
• Special updates on Union activities
• Two one-day transferable passes to Donor Lounge at major AGU meetings
• Invitation to a special recognition event
