The American Geophysical Union, in
cooperation with the American Institute of
Physics and the American Meteorological
Society, with support from the Alfred P.
Sloan Foundation, presents the following pages as an experiment in
documenting the hidden history of modern science. It has been estimated that
90% of all published research was produced by people who are still living. We
invite scientists, technicians, students, etc., who participated in any of the
research areas below to visit these sites and add their recollections,
unpublished documentation, comments, and other information, and participate in the
threaded discussions of relevant topics. Click here for information
