International Association of Volcanology and Chemistry of the Earth's Interior (IAVCEI)
Scientific Program
The scientific program for the XXI General Assembly of the IUGG consists of five Union lectures, a set of nine interdisciplinary all-Union Symposia, joint symposia and workshops that cut across disciplinary boundaries between groups of IUGG Associations, and an extensive set of symposia and workshops planned by individual Associations. In addition to the pre-planned symposia and workshops listed below, additional scientific sessions in all areas of geodesy and geophysics will be arranged by the scientific program committee to accommodate abstracts received on other topics.
In the spirit of interdisciplinary cooperation, all joint symposia have been cross-referenced under each appropriate association listing. These joint symposia appear at the beginning of the association programs.
An original plus two copies of your abstract must be sent to the Assembly organizers: XXI General Assembly c/o American Geophysical Union (AGU), 2000 Florida Avenue, N.W., Washington, DC 20009. In addition, a copy should be sent to the Lead Convener of each symposium where appropriate. Lead Convener addresses are indicated after most symposia descriptions. Abstracts on general geodesy and geophysics-related topics should be sent to AGU.
