Media and Public Information
AGU’s public information programs enhance public understanding of Earth and space science. To reach the greatest number of people, we work primarily through the mass media. Among our goals is the improvement of science writing intended for the general public.
- AGU press releases and brief summaries of research papers (called Journal Highlights)
- Updates on the current AGU meeting (or the upcoming meeting if none is in progress)
- Television spots, images, videos, and animations related to AGU sciences
- AGU media training: interview tips and non-technical writing for scientists, media fellowships for science graduate students.
