Venue and Hotel Accommodations
The conference will be held at the Rodon Mount Hotel and Resort in in the picturesque mountain village of Agros. The Rodon — Greek for “roses” — is located on a mountain peak and offers panoramic and unhindered views.

The hotel is equipped with central heating and air conditioning. All rooms are complete with bathroom, telephone, satellite TV, refrigerator, hair dryer, safe box, armchair or sofa that can be converted into a bed, and covered veranda.
Additionally, the hotel hosts a lounge, cafeterias, restaurants, kafenio (traditional coffee shop), piano bar, games room and a village tavern. In the hotel's mini market, you will find all necessities, souvenirs and local products.
All guests can access the Internet from the hotel lobby and conference rooms. Internet pre-paid cards are available at the reception. Rates are: €2,50 for 30 minutes; €4,00 for 60 minutes; €10,00 for 24 hours.
Roommate Requests
If you are interested in sharing a room and don’t yet have a roommate, AGU will faciliate that process. We are compiling a list of those who are looking for roommates and will send it with those who are interested. Potential roommates will communicate directly with each other to make their housing arrangements.
Please send an e-mail to chapman-oceaniclithosphere@agu.org Subject line: “Send Roommate List”. Include the following information: Name; gender; arrival date; departure date; e-mail address and anything else you deem noteworthy for a potential roommate.
Airport Transfers — Group Transport
In an effort to accommodate most of the participants, the conference will provide shuttle service from Larnaca International Airport to the Rodon Mount Hotel in Agros.
The dates and tentative times are as follows: 7 May: 2200h; 8 May: 1600h and 2000h. Additionally, there will be a return shuttle from the hotel to the airport the morning of 16 May.

If you would like to make your own airport transfer arrangments there are several options:

Shuttle Bus from Larnaca International Airport to Limassol
If you are arriving early and spending time in Limassol, the Limassol Airport Express offers a shuttle service [PDF] from the airport to Limassol for 8 Euro. If you are continuing on to Agros, the shuttle bus driver can call a taxi for you prior to arrival in Limassol.
