The meeting will take place at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), California Institute of Technology, von Karman Auditorium, 4800 Oak Grove Drive, Pasadena, California. Each person coming to the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) will have to be either a U.S. citizen or, if you are a foreign national, will have to be granted clearance from NASA Headquarters. By completing your full personal information on the REGISTRATION FORM provided, clearance will be taken care of for you. Clearance usually takes 1 to 2 weeks so be sure to submit your information well in advance of the meeting. If you do not provide this information within this time frame, chances are you will not be admitted.

For presenters, the meeting room will be equipped with dual viewgraph machines and dual screens. Slide projector(s) and video equipment will be available if advance notice is given. Presenters requiring further equipment may be required to pay an additional fee and must give advance notification. All oral presentations are 15 minutes (12 minutes for presentation, 2 minutes for discussion, 1 minute for changeover), invited oral presentations are 30 minutes (25 minutes for presentation, 4 minutes for discussion, 1 minute for changeover), and poster presentations are from 5:30 - 7:30 pm on Wednesday, February 14. The Preliminary Program will be available on the AGU home page of the World Wide Web (http://www.agu.org) by late December. If you do not have access to the World Wide Web, please e-mail me at khansen@agu.org, phone 202-462-6900 ext. 382, or fax 202-328-0566, and I will be happy to send this to you directly.
