How to Register

Preregistration is no longer available. Individuals must register on-site.

Payment can be made only by American Express, Visa, Mastercard, check (payable to AGU), postal money order, or bank draft. Purchase orders will not be accepted for payment of registration. On-site rates are now in effect.

On-Site Registration Hours

On-site registration will be located in the North Lobby of the Moscone Center during the following hours:

Thursday, 5 December
 • 4:00–6:30 P.M.
Friday, 6 December, and Saturday, 7 December
 • 7:30 A.M.–4:00 P.M.
Sunday, 8 December, and Monday, 9 December
 • 8:00 A.M.–4:00 P.M.
Tuesday, 10 December
 • 8:00 A.M.–2:00 P.M.

Guest Registration

Guests or spouses not attending the scientific sessions may register at the meeting at no charge. A guest is a spouse, friend, or adult child (18 and over) who is not in a geophysical sciences related occupation or field. A coworker or an associate working in a related geophysical sciences field or studying geophysics in school may not use the Guest Registration category. Registered guests may go to the exhibits and attend and purchase tickets to social events at the advertised rates.

Receipt

The preregistration receipt will be attached to your badge, which will be given to you at the time of registration.

Cancellations

• You must send written notification of cancellations to AGU headquarters.
• Between 15 November 2002 and 26 November 2002, a $30 processing fee will be deducted from the amount paid.
• Refunds will not be processed after 26 November 2002.

Ordering Abstracts

Abstracts are available to members who have subscriptions, or they can be purchased with meeting registration. Meeting registrants can purchase the Fall Meeting abstracts as a printed paper volume or on a CD-ROM.

You can purchase a single copy of the abstracts for pickup at the meeting as a printed paper volume for $25 or as a CD-ROM for $8. Only a limited quantity of volumes will be available for sale at the meeting. There are no refunds for abstract volumes.
