The Moscone West provides business services including photocopying services, transparencies, fax transmission and receipt, overnight mail drop point, UPS, office supplies, and cellular telephone rental.

Child Care
0730h - 1830h, Monday through Friday

KiddieCorp will provide a professional children's program on Level II of Moscone West, in Overlooks 2018 and 2020. Fees are $6 per hour per child for children ages 6 months through 12 years old, and $9 per hour per child for children under 6 months old. Children must be registered for a minimum of three consecutive hours per child per day. Advance reservations must be received by November 15, 2004. Children will enjoy games, storytime, arts and crafts, and other fun-filled activities.

The Donor Circle Lounge offers a quiet atmosphere for Supporting Members and special AGU guests to start the morning, unwind in the afternoon, mingle, prepare for a presentation, and check e-mail. Continental breakfast is available in the morning and light refreshments are offered from noon until the lounge closes for the day. There is ready access to telephones, computers, printers, the Internet, newspapers, and a message board.

E-mail/Wireless
0730h - 1800, Monday through Thursday, and Friday 0730h - 1700h.
Moscone West and Marriott Hotel

E-mail terminals with secure Internet access are available on Level 1 of Moscone West and Marriot Hotel Yerba Buena lobby. Wireless Internet via the 802.11B (Wi-Fi) standard is available on only on Level 2 of Moscone West. Your laptop must be equipped with a Wi-Fi or 802.11B wireless network card for PCs or an Airport card for Macintosh. Power station areas are available on Level 2 where you can plug in your laptop.

First Aid

A registered nurse will be on-call during all meeting hours to provide basic first aid services and supply items such as Band-Aids, acetaminophen, etc. The First Aid Office is located on Level 1.

This is the central information center for the Fall Meeting. Anyone trying to contact meeting attendees should call the number listed above. Telephone messages will be posted on message boards. Incoming faxes should be sent to the fax number listed above. Faxes will be received and a message will be placed on the message boards for the recipient. Please plan to check these boards regularly in case other attendees are trying to reach you. Individuals cannot be paged. Outside of registration hours it is recommended that messages be left at the attendee's hotel. Names and phone numbers of hotels are listed under Hotels on page 14.

Refreshments will be served at both Moscone West and the Marriott Hotel.

Reservations Tonight! Make the Most of San Francisco! Reservations Tonight, our official conference concierge service, provides FREE restaurant reservations and expert event advice covering all your entertainment needs in San Francisco. Reservations Tonight staff will be available onsite at the Dining service counter, located in the Pre-Registration area on Level I at Moscone West, just outside the entrance to the Exhibit Hall. Current menus, brochures, maps, transportation suggestions will be available—all free of charge. Shuttle Bus Service

Shuttle service will be provided during the following hours to and from all hotels, except the Marriott, Argent, Villa Florence, San Francisco Palace, and Powell hotels.

  • Sunday, 12 December: 1445h - 1900h
  • Monday, 13 December and Thursday, 16 December: 0630h - 0930h and 1715h - 2030h
  • Tuesday, 14 December and Wednesday, 15 December: 0630h - 0930h and 1700h - 20000h
  • Friday, 17 December: 0630h - 0930h and 1600h -1900h

Schedules and pickup locations are posted in all hotel lobbies and at Moscone West. Taxis are also available and are reasonably priced.

If you have special needs, the AGU staff will work with its vendors to provide you reasonable support. Contact an AGU staff person at +1-202-777-7340, or check in at the Facilities Desk in the Exhibit Hall, Level 1 upon your arrival.
