Student Travel Grant Eligibility

The Student Travel Grant program provides PARTIAL SUPPORT for first-time student attendance at AGU annual meetings. Grants do not exceed $650, with the final awarded amount being determined by AGU based on geographic proximity to the meeting. Grant recipients are selected using several criteria, including degree level, availability of additional travel support, evidence of need, and advisor/supervisor comments. Disciplinary breadth and geographic/institutional variety of the recipients are also taken into consideration.
