Registration is now open. Discounted pre-registration is no longer available. Below are the rates applicable to individuals registering after 14 November.

Registration Rates
- Members of AGU and cooperating societies should register at member rates.
- Students must show a student ID at the meeting when they pick up their registration materials.
- Retired members must be 65 or older and retired from full-time employment.
- Attendees from Low-Income Countries qualify for special discounted registration rates. Please consult the updated list of Tier 1 and Tier 2 countries to determine whether you are eligible to receive the discounted rate.

Guests
Guest badges can only be issued for those not participating in the scientific program. A guest is an individual who is not in a geophysical sciences related field or occupation, including graduate and undergraduate students. Registered guests may go to the exhibits and purchase tickets to social events at the advertised rates. You will be able to designate a guest with your registration.
Accessibility for Registrants with Disabilities
AGU will work with its vendors to provide reasonable support to meetings and events for those who require special needs. Please indicate any special needs on the registration form or contact AGU's Meetings Department by email: fm-help@agu.org for more information.
Receipts
All attendees who register online will receive a receipt/confirmation after they register via e-mail. Additionally, all registrants will receive a receipt attached to their badge when they check-in before the meeting.
Cancellations
- A written notification of cancellation must be sent to AGU by mail:

- The full fee will be refunded if written notification is received at AGU by 14 November 2008.
- Between 15 November and 28 November a $30 processing fee will be deducted from the registration fee paid.
- Requests for refunds, including ticketed events, cannot be processed after 28 November 2008.
