Communicating Your Science Workshop

Sunday, 13 December 2009
Pacific Room I, San Francisco Marriott Marquis Hotel
55 Fourth Street (corner of 4th & Mission)
San Francisco

Learn to convey your research findings more simply, clearly, and effectively. The tools and skills you pick up in this workshop will help you communicate with the press, policy makers, and public. Activities will include in-workshop practice at giving brief conversational talks about your latest results. These talks will be videotaped, replayed in the workshop, and discussed by you, workshop leaders, and fellow participants to help all improve their communication skills.

PLEASE NOTE: Space for this workshop is limited. Early-career scientists and graduate students are especially welcome. Sign up by filling in the form below and clicking Submit Form. (We will get back to you by 23 November to let you know if you have a space reserved in the workshop.)
