1998 Fall MeetingSponsored by:
American Geophysical Union
The American Geophysical Union (AGU) is a society of more than 35,000 members in over 115 countries with the purpose of advancing progress in the Earth, atmospheric, oceanic, hydrologic, space, and planetary sciences. AGU is dedicated to fostering high-quality scientific research, disseminating the results of that research, and enhancing educational opportunities in science.
The American Geophysical Union (AGU) provides a focal point for those who are expanding the frontiers of the geophysical sciences. AGU represents the Earth, atmospheric, oceanic, hydrologic, space, and planetary sciences and is dedicated to fostering high-quality scientific research, enhancing educational opportunities in science, and encouraging international cooperation in geophysics.
The 1998 Fall Meeting offered 5 days of scientific programming, beginning Sunday, December 6, and continued through Thursday, December 10.
