Microwave Algorithm Scientist
Microwave remote sensing scientist in support of NOAA climate and weather satellite programs, including NPOESS and GOES-R. Requires skills and ability developing algorithms to retrieve atmosphere temperature and moisture profile, water vapor, cloud, and rainfall products from space-based microwave instruments (AMSU and NPOESS instruments ATMS and CMIS). Requires atmospheric radiative transfer experience and a Ph.D degree in Physical Science such as Physics, Atmospheric Science, or Remote Sensing.
