Hawaii Tourism Information

Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii
Honolulu, the capital city of Hawaii, is located on the island of Oahu. Oahu is an island of magnificent panoramas, ringed with white sand beaches, capped by towering volcanic peaks, and in between the mountains and the ocean lies the playground of the Pacific. Oahu is "the gathering place," with more hotels, restaurants, and major attractions than all of the other islands put together, and the "world's best beach" at Waikiki. Honolulu is sophisticated, lively, and offers arts, culture, and entertainment, with an abundance of galleries, nightclubs, museums, a major zoo, aquarium, Pearl Harbor, the Arizona Memorial...and much more. But the best of Oahu is its natural setting. No matter where you turn, there's a new vista waiting to be discovered. Miles of beaches. Dramatic peaks. Palm trees swaying in the gentle tradewinds.
