Student Housing at Simmons College

Housing Deadline Extended: April 13, 2001

AGU has blocked rooms at Simmons College to offer a discount housing option for students. The urban campus is located in the heart of Boston, in the midst of museums, hospitals, and other colleges and universities, and just two stops from the Hynes Convention Center on Bostonís subway system (The T).

Accommodations will be located in Smith Hall, a non-air-conditioned dormitory. Each room is equipped with a fan. Bathrooms are located conveniently on each floor. Laundry facilities and public pay phones are available. The room rates are $60 per night for a single room, or $88 per night for a double room. Room rates include continental breakfast.

The Holmes Sport Center, a state-of-the art facility, with an 8-lane swimming pool, sauna, squash and racquetball courts, weight rooms, basketball court, and suspended track, is available to guests for a fee of $4.00 per week.

There is no parking on campus. Several nearby public parking facilities are available at a rate of approximately $20 per day. To request a list of these facilities, contact meetinginfo@agu.org.
