If you are an AGU member, you may update and/or view your member record now to ensure that your badge information is correct.

How to Register

Mac Users: The new online registration form is not compatible with Mac OS X using the default Safari Web browser at this time. Please register at , the alternate online form, to ensure your registration is completed.

1. Retired Senior Member Rates:
Members 65 or older and retired from full–time employment: use the secure Online Registration Form.

2. Cheap Undergraduate Rates:
Use the secure Online Registration Form.

3. Other AGU Members—New Online Registration Form:

Current AGU members can use the new interactive registration system. Login here to receive the correct rates. You will be asked to login a second time to confirm your information for credit card charges.

4. Nonmembers and Members of Partner Societies:

Use the secure Nonmember Online Registration Form to register for the meeting

  • if you are not a member of AGU, or
  • if you are a member of a partner society (CGU, SEG or EEGS).

All who register online will receive a receipt by e–mail.

Mail or Fax Registration

Print and complete the printable registration form, and mail or fax it to AGU at

Complete and Submit the secure Online Registration Form. Print, but do not submit, the subsequent Verification and Payment page, and send it to AGU via mail or fax. Faxed registrations must include payment by credit card. Registrations by mail may include payment by check (payable to AGU), postal money order, or bank draft.

On–site registration will be located on the 2nd level of the Palais des Congrès during the following hours:

Sunday, 16 May:4:00–6:30 p.m.
Monday, 17 May–Tuesday, 18 May:7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Wedensday, 19 May–Thursday, 20 May:8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Friday, 21 May:8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

Receipt

All who register online will receive a receipt by e–mail. All registrants will receive a receipt attached to your badge that will be given to you at On–Site Registration.

Meeting Abstracts

Abstracts are available by subscription or purchase with meeting registration. Joint Assembly abstracts are available as a printed paper volume ($35) or CD–ROM ($16).

There is no advance shipping of the paper volume. The CD–ROM will be shipped in advance if an order is received by 15 April 2004. Only a limited quantity of volumes will be available to sell at the meeting, so consider the prepurchase option to guarantee your volume. There are no refunds for abstract volumes.

Cancellations

  • You must send written notification of cancellation to AGU, by mail, fax, or e–mail: sm–help@agu.org.
  • The full registration fee will be refunded if written notification is received at AGU headquarters by 29 April 2004.
  • Between 30 April and 7 May 2004, a $25 processing fee will be deducted from the amount paid.
  • Refunds will not be processed after 7 May 2004.
  • There are no refunds for abstract volumes.

Guests

Guests or spouses not attending the scientific sessions may register at the meeting at no charge. A guest is a spouse, friend, or adult child (18 and over) who is not in a geophysical sciences related occupation or field. A coworker or an associate working in a related geophysical sciences field or studying geophysics in school may not use the Guest Registration category. Registered guests may go to the exhibits and attend and purchase tickets to social events at the advertised rates.

AGU wants to ensure that all people have access to the sessions and events they wish to attend. If you have special needs, AGU will work with its vendors to provide reasonable support in these cases.
