A goal of the AGU is to develop activities that integrate the geophysical sciences with other appropriate disciplines and interdisciplinary efforts and applications to solve specific problems. To support this goal the Meetings Committee is providing a structure for highlighting
interdisciplinary communication at meetings by organizing sessions within Theme groupings.
The following meeting summary is structured by Themes to reflect the interdisciplinary flavor of the 1999 Spring Meeting. This should allow you to browse through sessions addressing common interests produced from various Sections. The meeting summary is a quick reference for finding sessions scheduled on a given day and can be used for planning your day. Sessions are presented by day in Theme groupings. Within each theme information is in section order. Sessions that overlap multiple themes are listed under all appropriate Themes. The session information includes title and session number.
