On-Site Registration

On-site registration takes place at the Cairns Convention Centre located at Cnr Wharf and Sheridan Streets. On-site registration hours are:

15:00h-18:30h Monday, 28 July
07:30h-17:00h Tuesday, 29 July
07:30h-17:00h Wednesday, 30 July
07:30h-17:00h Thursday, 31 July
08:30h-12:00h Friday, 1 August

Registration Rates


  • Students must show a student ID at registration.
  • Retiree must be 65 or older and retired from full-time employment.
  • “Low Income Countries:” Special discounts are available for those from low income countries. See the list of “Tier 1 Low Income Countries” to determine if you are eligible for free registration. See the list of “Tier 2 Low Income Countries” to determine if you are eligible for 50% off of the appropriate registration category rate.
  • There are no one-day registration fees for this meeting.

Ticketed Events

The activities listed below requires a ticket. In order to purchase a ticket, you must be registered for the meeting.

WPGM Welcoming Reception 1700h-1830h A ticket is required. The event is free.
Thursday, 31 July
WPGM Closing Reception 1815h $35.00

Guests

Guest badges can only be issued to those not participating in the scientific program. A guest is an individual who is not in a geophysical sciences related field or occupation, including graduate and undergraduate students. Registered guests may purchase tickets to social events at the advertised rates. You can designate a guest with your registration.


Accessibility for Registrants with Disabilities

AGU will work with its vendors to provide reasonable support to meetings and events for those who require special needs. Please note any special needs on the registration form or contact AGU's Meetings Department by email wp-help@agu.org for more information.


Receipts

All who register online will receive a receipt/confirmation after they register via e-mail. All registrants will receive a receipt attached to the badge that will be given at the meeting.
