Presenter and Session Chair Information

Please carefully read the instructions and guidelines for chairing a session or presenting a paper at the 2010 Western Pacific Meeting.

Session Times

Oral Sessions

Following are the times for the oral session each day:

Morning: 0830h–1000h; 1030h–1200h
Plenary: 1230h-1330h
Afternoon: 1400h-1530h; 1600h-1730h

Poster Sessions

Poster sessions are scheduled 0830h–1200h and 1400h–1730h daily.

Poster sessions are active for a 3.5-hour period on the day that the session is scheduled. Authors must be present at their poster for at least one hour during the allocated session time. Presenters will display posters for ONE day. Posters should be put up at 0800h the day of the presentation, and removed no later than 1800h on the same day or they will be discarded.

Declining to Chair a Session

If you are unable to chair a session, log-in to the abstract submission software. Once logged-in, click the link to view your Invitations in the Message Center, located at the top of the screen. Click the Decline button next to the session you are scheduled to Chair. Then you must click Submit. Please be sure that there is at least one other available chair for your session. If that is not the case, please be e-mail AGU staff at wp-help@agu.org.

Individuals may receive a reminder containing their User ID and password by and clicking on Forgot Your Password? in the software system.
