Modelers and Users Meet at CCMC Workshop

Descriptive and predictive models of the Earth's space environment, from the Sun to the Earth's surface, are critical for operational users. The large solar events during the last week of October 2003 coincided with the many stimulating presentations and vigorous discussions during the second biennial workshop for the Community Coordinated Modeling Center (CCMC) that was held at the Maui (Hawaii) High Performance Computing Center.
