AGU has a nondiscrimination and freedom of access policy. All advertisers must attest to nondiscrimination regarding recruiting, hiring, and promoting. AGU acknowledges that citizenship can be recognized as a legitimate requirement for some positions.

Advertisements with “Reply By” deadlines that are less than 14 days from the publication date will not be accepted.

Text submitted for advertisements should be “ready to publish.” All advertisements should be proofread before submission. AGU will not correct grammar and spelling.

Classified Advertisement Rates

Advertisers can calculate the cost of their classified in-column advertisement:

  1. Using your word processing software, count the number of characters in the text of your in-column ad.
  2. Add an additional 10% to this number in order to compensate for editing and formatting.
  3. Multiply the number of characters by the appropriate per character advertisement rate from the table below based on category. Formula: Cost = rate x (number of characters x 1.1).

NOTE: Character counts should not include spaces.
