Papers in Press
AGU journal articles are available within days of acceptance. With Papers in Press, online subscribers can access the PDF files of accepted manuscripts prior to copyediting and formatting. Articles at this stage are considered “in press” and are citable with the DOI for future linking. Each journal has its own list of Papers in Press updated daily; these article listings can be sorted by first author or by date of acceptance.
Papers in Press content does not have any of the enhancements or features of the final articles. Open abstracts, reference links, animations, and supporting materials become available upon publication, at which time the “in press” article is removed from the site.
