Submit Abstracts to Science & Society Sessions at the AGU Fall Meeting

AGU Science Policy Alert 10–23

Believe it or not, the annual AGU Fall Meeting in San Francisco is just around the corner. Are you knowledgeable about the societal impacts of your research or have you ever considered giving a policy-oriented talk? Submit an abstract for one of the many science and society sessions at the meeting. Already submitting a scientific abstract? You are allowed to submit one additional abstract to a Public Affairs (PA) or Education and Human Resources (ED) session as well. Please pass this information on to colleagues who may want to submit an abstract of their own! To find a relevant session, you can perform a session search for "Public Affairs" or other sessions. The 2010 AGU annual Fall Meeting will be held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco from 13-17 December. Last year, over 16,000 researchers, students, teachers, and consultants from around the world attended the meeting to disseminate and discuss the latest Earth and space science research
