Mars Pathfinder Mission
The Mars Pathfinder mission is using a free-ranging rover called "Sojourner" to study the rocks, soil, and atmosphere of Mars. The following series of articles published in Eos in the weeks after Pathfinder touched down on July 4, 1997, and began exploring the "Red Planet" highlights some of the exciting findings scientists have made thus far.
