Valerie I. Lang
Dr. Lang was the 16th AGU Congressional Science Fellow, working in the office of Representative Jim Bacchus of Florida during 1992-1993.
To complete her fellowship experience, Dr. Lang took a sabbatical from the Aerospace Corporation, where she worked as a member of the technical staff on experimental research in areas of ozone depletion chemistry and launch vehicle effects on the troposphere and stratosphere. Dr. Lang is currently working with the Aerospace Corporation as a Senior Project Engineer. She received her bachelor's degree in chemistry from McGill University, her master's degree in physical chemistry from the University of Miami, and her Ph.D. in physical chemistry from Dartmouth College.
