Deadline approaches for Sullivan and Perlman journalism awards

This is our final reminder that the deadline for receipt of entries for the 2008 Walter Sullivan and David Perlman Awards for Excellence in Science Journalism is 15 November. Entries must be actually received at AGU (not just postmarked) by that date.

We welcome entries from any country, in any language (with English translation), and in any medium intended for the general public, except books.

Each award consists of a plaque and a stipend of $2,000 to be presented at 2008 Joint Assembly in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, next 27–30 May. See http://www.agu.org/meetings/ja08/.
