Each year, AGU sponsors one university student in the AAAS Mass Media Science and Engineering Fellowship program, which provides ten weeks of work experience at a newspaper, magazine, broadcast or cable news department, or website. For additional information on the program, including application instructions and a link to the brochure and application, visit the AAAS Mass Media Science and Engineering Fellows Program website: http://ehrweb.aaas.org/massmedia.htm. The deadline for receipt of 2007 applications will be 15 January 2007. Candidates will receive final notification of the status of their applications by 15 April 2007.
