Soil carbon sequestration: Stakeholder perspectives

Keen public interest in soil carbon sequestration will test the scientific community’s ability to deliver effective soil management practices and durable scientific concepts. In this seven-part webinar series we will hear diverse perspectives on key questions that inform how to go about sequestering soil carbon in working lands.

In part 1, “Stakeholder perspectives”, Renata Brillinger (California Climate Action Network) and Lauren Lurkins (Illinois Farm Bureau) will share views and efforts of their organizations to advocate for agriculture in climate policy.

This series is sponsored by the International Soil Carbon Network in partnership with the Midwest, Northeast, and Northwest USDA Climate Hubs and AGU.
