Each year, AGU Fall Meeting unites the global Earth and space science community to share findings, connect, and advance our profession and its benefits for society. Advance your science and join more than 25,000 attendees from more than 100 countries by submitting an abstract.

The abstract submission deadline has passed. Following the submission deadline, session information can be viewed here.

Abstracts should focus on:
  • new scientific results,
  • enabling Earth and space science or its application, and/or
  • the contribution of Earth and space science to society.

Abstract submission site opens.

Mid

Town hall and workshop proposal notification letters are sent.

Deadline to submit the membership waiver for non-member authors.

Abstract submission closes.

Mid

Fall Meeting Program Committee allocates sessions.

Late

Conveners review and schedule abstracts in allocated sessions.

October

Scientific program released.

Abstract notifications sent.

Conveners monitor the final program for withdrawals and presenter changes.

November

2

Last day to confirm or withdraw an abstract from the scientific program.

December

Early

Deadline to upload interactive poster or slide presentations.
