Poster Guidelines Before the Meeting

Confirm Participation

After you receive your acceptance notification with the date and time of your presentation, presenting authors must access the Participant’s Corner to confirm their scientific program participation by 30 October.

Poster presentations can be uploaded via aMuze! iPosterSessions platform beginning in mid-October. The deadline to upload presentations online is Friday, 20 November at 17:00 PST (UTC -8) in order to be published and available to registered attendees by the start of the meeting, 1 December. However, please note that authors will have access to make any updates to their presentations until 17 December.  This earlier deadline was set with careful consideration of the overall meeting experience and is ten days out from the start of the  meeting, a gap that includes the US holiday of Thanksgiving. Due to the volume of presentations, this earlier deadline will allow chairs and staff to assure availability and quality of all of the presentations and have the presentations ready for all registered attendees to view at the start of the meeting on 1 December.

Each poster presenter will create a digital, interactive virtual poster through a web-based platform, aMuze! iPosterSessions. The iPosterSessions platform, which AGU has used for the past three years, allows authors to create interactive presentations that include high-resolution images, videos and animations, voice-over narrations and scrolling content. Authors also have the option of recording a brief introduction or summary recording linked in the presentation.

Presenters will receive individual emailed instructions on how to log in to this platform and create their presentations by mid-October.

The aMuze! Platform is a virtual HTML-based “poster” format. There is no function for uploading a poster in another format (e.g. PDF) directly to theiPosterSessions platform.

For further information please review a video overview of this presentation format. Please note, the face-to-face presentation portion represented in the video will not be held this year. In addition, please view the virtual presentations from Fall Meeting 2019 Meeting.
