AGU invites members of the media to join us for the 2023 annual conference, online and in-person in San Francisco, free of charge. Press registration will remain open through the end of the conference on 15 December.
The Press Room and all press events are located in the Moscone Center South Building, level 3, rooms 306-7.
Collect press name badges or register on site in the lobby of Moscone North (map here) then cross the street to the south building to the press room to check in and receive your media credentials. To pass building security, you must have your badge before arriving at the press room.
If you are joining us remotely, find press event live streams in the AGU23 online event platform and mobile app by filtering for type "press." Zoom links will be on the event pages 30 minutes prior to start.

AGU23 press releases, media advisories and recommended presentations about climate, storms, space, pollution, public heath, hard core geology stories and more will roll out on on AGU's general newsroom in the run up to the meeting.

Press Events
Press conferences throughout the week feature the latest news about the state of the Arctic, the Antarctic and agriculture in Ukraine, Perseverance rover's journey out of Jezero crater and approaches to marine carbon dioxide removal. Roundtables explore eclipse science, beavers, dams, and map tools for reporting on a changing world. Experts from across the breadth of the Earth and space sciences are available to answer questions at eight media availability events. Check the schedule for event details. Press conferences and media roundtables will stream live on the AGU23 online platform.
