Poster Session Guidelines

Note: Posters will be located throughout the First and Second Floors of the Convention Center. A map will be provided in your program and posted online when available.

  1. Check the online Meeting Program for any changes or updates to your session.
  2. Posters may be put up beginning at 0800h each day. Please plan to arrive in the poster area before the session is scheduled to start.
  3. Make sure authors' poster boards are numbered properly.
  4. Make sure authors are beginning to set up their posters before 0830h and are not experiencing problems.
  5. Make sure authors have clearly posted the time when they will be at their boards. These signs can be picked up at the Registration Desk.
  6. Help any author who is having trouble with setup.
  7. Encourage participation by introducing individuals in the area to specific authors and performing "crowd control" as necessary.
  8. An online evaluation form will be emailed to you a few days prior to the meeting. When completing the online evaluation form, record attendance throughout the session and withdrawn papers. Please be sure to complete it as soon as your session is over to provide valuable feedback.
  9. No papers may be added to the session. No papers may be moved from one session to another. Record any such situations on the evaluation form.
  10. Should any problem develop with poster set up, facilities, or equipment, contact a staff person in the registration area.
