About the Meeting

The Ocean Sciences Meeting 2024 was co-sponsored by the American Geophysical Union, the Association for the Sciences of Limnology and Oceanography (ASLO), and The Oceanography Society (TOS). Through the combined power of these three organizations, affiliated partners, and collaboration with the broader conservation-focused community, the meeting provided attendees the opportunity to bridge disciplines, connect communities, and build lasting partnerships.

Ocean Sciences Meeting 2024 was held in New Orleans and online worldwide from 18–23 February 2024. Program information was made available in early 2023. The Ocean Sciences Meeting was an Endorsed Decade Action program of the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.
