Norohasina RAKOTOARISON trained in medicine and specializes in public health at the National Institute of Public and Community Health of Madagascar. She has been a member of the climate-health working group since 2008. She conducted the vulnerability and adaptive capacity assessment study of the health sector to climate change in 2015. Since 2018, she serves as the focal point for health and climate change within the Ministry of Health. She was appointed head of health and environment in September 2019.
