Rolland Maminiaina Randrianarivelo trained as a mathematician and has worked in the field of climate and environment for over eight years. She has expertise in the development of climate strategy documents and accompanied the development process of the National Adaptation Plan (NAP) and the National Action Plan to Combat Climate Change (PANLCC) of Madagascar which are the sectoral policies and strategies integrating climate change and implementation activities of the adaptation priority sectors of the NAP.
