What are the dates for #TESS24?
#TESS24 will be held from 7-12 April.
Is #TESS24 timed to the solar eclipse?
Yes, Dallas is in the path of totality of the 2024 solar eclipse on 8 April. The TESS conference has private outdoor viewing space for attendees.
Do I have to be a member of AGU or AAS attend?
No, all members of the Heliophysics community are welcome to attend.

Abstracts
Do I need to be a member of AGU or AAS to submit an abstract?
No, membership is not a requirement.
Do I need to register for TESS24 in order to present my abstract?
- The presenting author must register for and attend TESS24 in-person.
- Session conveners and all presenters must pay a registration fee if they are attending and/or presenting at TESS24.
When do abstract submissions open and close?
- Abstract Submission Opening: 20 July 2023
- Abstract Submission Deadline: 11 October 2023, 11:59 P.M. ET
When will I know if my abstract has been accepted?
Authors are notified of the acceptance, format and schedule of their abstracts in early December.

How do I submit an abstract submission?

Is there a fee to submit an abstract?
Yes. The abstract submission fee is a required and non-refundable processing fee, separate from membership dues and meeting registration fees, and is not based on approval of your abstract submission or attendance at the meeting.
The abstract submission fees are:
- Regular: $75
- Student: $45
- Low/Lower-Middle Income Countries*: No Fee

Sessions
Do I need to register for TESS24 in order to chair, moderate, or present in a session?
All session moderators and all presenters must pay a registration fee if they are attending and/or presenting at TESS24.
Do I need to be a member of AGU or AAS to chair, moderate, or present at a session?
No, membership is not a requirement.
Is there a fee to submit a session topic?
There is no fee to submit a session topic.
What session formats will be included at TESS24?
TESS24 session formats include oral sessions, poster sessions, and town halls. All sessions will take place in-person at the Hilton Anatole.
