U21E - Lightning Talks I: Habitability of Planet Earth in the Modern Anthropocene
Lecture Instructional
During the first one hundred years of AGU, scientists have made amazing discoveries about how our unique planet has evolved to become habitable for humans and many other species of life. These scientific discoveries have fundamentally shifted how we view the role of humans in our world. This session focuses on how our scientific understanding of the habitability of our planet has evolved to its current state of knowledge, and how that understanding has changed our perspective about human’s role in sustaining the habitability of our planet in the Anthropocene.
