U23F - Panel I: National Security and Climate Change
Lecture Instructional
Climate change is having a dramatic impact as a threat multiplier on food supplies, sea level rise, flood risk, droughts, and migration, linking to humanitarian disasters and political instability. This deepening impact is becoming global, threatening both stable and unstable governments. The purpose of this Centennial panel is to provide a forum for linking observed knowledge of earth processes and climate change with political concerns that must be aligned for positive change to mitigate future disasters.
