NASA's Parker Solar Probe was successfully launched August 12, 2018 and has collected data for two encounters of the Sun.  The primary science goals for Parker Solar Probe are to trace the flow of energy, understand the heating of the solar corona as well as to explore the mechanisms for accelerating the solar wind. Parker will also unveil the mechanisms of coronal mass ejections and energetic particle acceleration, as well as link the magnetic field evolution from the solar interior to its consequences in terms of solar variability and space weather.  This session will highlight the transformative results from this mission. This session will include results from data analysis and model comparisons that increase the understanding of the dynamics of the solar atmosphere from the base of the corona into the inner heliosphere, the origins of the solar wind and its evolution from the sun.
