The New Generation of Scientists Union Session is a panel of Macelwane medalists will discuss in detail what contributed to their successes (and failures). In the first hour, each awardee will give a presentation highlighting the three most critical things that contributed to their success and three ways they will expand their research and toolkit going forward. For the remaining hour in the session, the audience will be invited to participate in the panel discussion. After the Fall Meeting, the more salient points can be followed-up during subsequent conference calls with AGU mentoring groups.
