Superior Researcher, Organization Not Listed
Agronomist, Ecologist, Hydrologist; Esteban is interested in managed ecosystems and the principles that dictate their water, nutrient and energy fluxes, including human-centered drivers and mechanisms. The plains of South America hosted most of his field studies, which included deep coring of sediments, geophysical imaging, stable isotopes, modeling and remote sensing. He has trained more than 15 young researchers in his lab in San Luis.
