Measuring soil C: Emerging Approaches
Webinar Series

Keen public interest in soil carbon sequestration will test the scientific community’s ability to deliver effective soil management practices and durable scientific concepts. In this seven-part webinar series we will hear diverse perspectives on key questions that inform how to go about sequestering soil carbon in working lands.

In part 2, “Measuring Soil C”, Cristine Morgan at the Soil Health Institute and Jonathan Sanderman at the Woodwell Climate Research Center will share their perspectives on which emerging approaches to quantifying soil carbon will enable widespread C measurement and monitoring.

This series is sponsored by the International Soil Carbon Network in partnership with the Midwest, Northeast, and Northwest USDA Climate Hubs and AGU.
