Know Before You Go Online

Quick Reference Guide

#AGU21 welcomes you to this year’s Fall Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana, and online everywhere 13-17 December. To help you prepare, we’ve put together this quick reference guide so you’re ready for a successful event. For even more details, visit the AGU website and mobile app where you’ll find the event schedule, speakers and accessibility policies.

Before the Meeting

Using a mobile device? Download the app.

  • Search for AGU Events in the Apple Store or Google Play.
  • Make sure your device is running iOS Version 13+ or Android Version 8+. Note that some Android devices with limited memory are not supported (e.g. Moto G4 & Moto G5).
  • Sign in using your AGU email address and password that you used to register for Fall Meeting.

Using a computer? Set up a bookmark.

  • Bookmark the #AGU21 website and click on the link to enter the online meeting platform.
  • Use Chrome or Safari for the best viewing experience.
  • Ensure to turn off any ad and pop up blockers you have added to your browser or your system as these tools will prevent you from logging in and may incorrectly limit visibility of event related content or limit functionality that requires a popup (e.g. authentication).
  • Sign in using your AGU email address and password that you used to register for Fall Meeting.

Download and test Zoom in advance.

All live video events will take place in Zoom. We recommend you download and install the latest version of Zoom in advance and familiarize yourself with it. You can go to https://zoom.us/test at any time to test your audio and video. We have included a few basic pointers for using Zoom on the virtual meeting platform here

Time Zone

Louisiana is in the Central Standard Time (CST) Zone. Central is two hours ahead of the Pacific time zone (California), and one hour behind the Eastern time zone (New York). All conference events will be hosted in CST.

Build Your Schedule

View the latest program agenda of keynotes, innovation, union, named lectures, poster and eLightening sessions and build your personal schedule. Pre-recorded content is available for viewing. If you started a schedule in Confex, it will sync if you used the same email address as for registration!
