New! AGU Circles
Connect with peers in small, members‑only cohorts built for candid exchange and collaboration—not lectures—so you can share real challenges of doing science, gain new perspectives, and move your career forward.
September 2026 Cohorts

Choose from one of the five options:

AGU26 Presenters - Presentation Practice & Peer Support

Meet other presenters coming to AGU26 to share your abstract, practice and sharpen your presentation skills, get peer feedback, and meet someone else headed to the meeting as you prepare to share your science this December.

Job-Seeking Peer Accountability & Support

Work alongside other science professionals, share your challenges and progress, and make strides together as you prepare and seek opportunities on the job market.

Taking Your First Steps in Science Policy & Advocacy

Learn from a lead who has experience with policy and advocacy efforts, share your personal goals and challenges and set your own action plan to make an impact advocating for science. Leave with greater confidence navigating opportunities in science policy and advocacy, as well as a new network of peers with shared interests.

Author Support - Publishing with AGU

Intended to help authors publishing with AGU for the first time or needing additional support. An experienced AGU member will offer resources and support as participants share challenges and progress toward your publishing goals. Leave with resources on AGU Publications to make tangible progress toward your goals to publish your science.

LGBTQIA+ Issues & Community Building

Join like-minded individuals to build community, and openly discuss LGBTQIA+ issues and the challenges of navigating the current landscape. Connect with AGQ and strengthen their sense of support within the community while sharing experiences related to current events and hardships. Together, the group will identify practical strategies for support.
