CATALYZING ADVOCACY IN SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING (CASE) WORKSHOP

AGU-sponsored CASE workshop

Each year, AGU sponsors one student member to attend the AAAS Catalyzing Advocacy in Science and Engineering (CASE) Workshop in Washington, D.C.

The workshop is being held in Washington, DC 26-29 March 2023 and teaches students about Congress, the federal budget, and science communication during the three-day course. It also allows students to see the process up close, network with science policy professionals, and collaborate with other students who are interested in similar issues.

The CASE workshop is an exciting opportunity to learn from science policy and advocacy experts about the role of science in policymaking and the federal policy-making process. It empowers participants with ways to become a voice for research throughout their careers.
