Paul James Durack

Paul Durack is a climate scientist and physical oceanographer exploring connections across the ocean, atmosphere and Earth system. His ocean salinity and temperature research revealed climate change fingerprints in the global water cycle and Earth's energy budget. His career spans CSIRO in Australia and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in the United States. Paul established input4MIPs and held leadership roles in CMIP/WCRP. He is an IPCC Lead Author for the AR6 and AR7 cycles.
