Patrick Mungufeni, currently Assoc. Prof. in Physics department at Muni University previously (2019 - 2021) worked as a post-doc researcher in Chungnum National University in South Korea, studying the Earth's Ionosphere. He also worked as a lecturer in Physics department (2012 - 2019) at Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Uganda. In addition to teaching Physics courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students, Patrick Mungufeni engages in Solar-Terrestrial Physics research
