Andrew D. Richardson
Professor, Northern Arizona University
Andrew Richardson is an ecologist whose research focuses on (1) the exchanges of carbon, water, and energy between the land surface and the atmosphere; (2) phenology, or the seasonality of vegetation activity; and (3) carbon allocation in trees. He has been a professor at Northern Arizona University since 2017. He established the PhenoCam network in 2008, and has co-led Bartlett AmeriFlux tower measurements since 2004. He has chaired the AmeriFlux Science Steering Committee since 2022.
