Join AGU

AGU’s mission is to promote discovery in Earth and space science for the benefit of humanity. Join us on this journey.

AGU Membership

AGU members come from around the world and across every discipline of Earth and space science. They’re researchers, educators, students, and advocates – or they’re just eager to know more about what’s going on within, around, and far beyond our planet. AGU members are passionate about discovery, working across disciplines and collaborating across continents. They’re also passionate about sharing the importance of science in their communities, to the media and to the people who make our laws and regulations.

Scientists join AGU to engage with their colleagues and others in the AGU network. They join sections within their discipline and discuss scientific, professional and policy topics in our online communities. They’re avid readers of Eos magazine. They also present their work at our annual Fall Meeting or one of our more targeted conferences.Their lifetime achievements and work are recognized through our honors and awards programs and their ambitions are supported through scholarships and annual travel grants

If this sounds like you, it sounds like you should be an AGU member.
